Yoast SEO XML Sitemap Showing 404 Page Not Found In WordPress
A 404 error indicates ‘page not found’. If you have recently installed Yoast SEO and your XML Sitemap is showing a 404 error when you click it, follow this simple step to resolve the issue:
- Login to your WordPress site as a user with administrator privileges.
- Choose ‘Settings’ -> ‘Permalinks’ from the navigation bar on the left.
- In the permalink settings, you do not need to change anything! Just simply click on the ‘SAVE CHANGES’ button.
- In a few moments, your “XML Sitemap” in Yoast SEO should start working!
